This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting tissues and other classroom basics to get my students through the winter months in Chicago. During this time of year, many of my students come to school with the sniffles, especially living in Chicago. It is also the time of year where our supplies that were purchased at the beginning of the year are running low, which is why it is important to replenish the items such as glue, erasers and post-it notes.

These basic things make a world of difference to my students.

Having these things helps make my students feel safe and supported, which is important in any classroom environment.
