My Students

Our classroom is designed to support students not only academically but also socially and emotionally. It is a safe inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and listened to.

My students are a combination of General Education students and Special Education students.

We are an inclusive environment that focuses not only on academics but also on creating a safe, warm, loving classroom where every student feels capable and willing to take risks. Each student is given the opportunity to complete their work where they feel they can do their best.

My Project

The 2020-2021 school year is definitely one for the books! Many of my students are participating in Blended Learning, which means that some days they are fully remote and other days they are in school. They only have 5 in-person school days every three weeks. With this crazy schedule it is really important that they have the materials that they need to succeed.

It is really important that my students have actual hardcopy books to read.

This will allow them to continue to grow as readers and as learners. Our class library needs more books so that the students can take them home for independent reading.
