Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a new Media Specialist at my school, I wish to invite the students and community to visit the library. A school library should be a warm, welcoming, safe space for all who come through the doors. I'd like our students to be excited to visit the library. Our school theme is "blasting into 2023". Receiving these decorations, posters, bookmarkers and headphones will allow me to reach my goal of applying our school theme to the library. I'd like my patrons to walk through the library doors and be transported into outer space. As early readers, I'd like children to realize a book can take them any where. Having children excited about visiting the library will surely make them better readers and future leaders.
