This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My class is full of inquisitive, creative, and bright learners who want to learn about anything and everything! We are preparing to learn all about outer space, the planets, and the moon.

Adding engaging, hands-on centers and materials will allow my students to thrive as they feel they are being transported to outer space.

From problem-solving skills to imagination, communication, and fine motor skills, planetary science can boost multiple areas of a child's development, and give them a desire to learn more about the world around them and beyond!

The hands on telescope, solar system model, helmets, and STEM robotics materials will help this unit to become real and tangible and make the learning even more meaningful.
