My Project

We came back to our garden club classroom to a shock: our large chalkboard which housed our calendar, to do list, cork board of community events, posters, and decorative lights had been taken down. As spring is here we are desperate to get in an alternative as soon as possible.

When schools and rooms are neglected, the students feel neglected, as if the rooms are a reflection of their worth.

These two whiteboards will be the replacement for the chalkboard we used to have. The expo markers will be the materials we use to write on the whiteboards with to make our monthly, weekly, and daily to do lists.

We have many community partners focused around donating formal and food plants, however their specialty does not contain office supplies.

Being able to provide a Garden Club will connect our students not only to a STEM focus, but also to hands-on learning, stewardship of their environment, and community connects.
