My Project

Help me bring rich literature into an elementary classroom. Students need to see themselves in classroom read alouds and class library books.

Students need to learn empathy, acceptance of all human beings, and how to cope in a diverse world.

Adding diverse read alouds and chapter books is an essential part of early learning. Help give my students the gift of self-acceptance and acceptance of others.

My students love learning how ordinary people have made a huge difference in our daily life. Through rich books, each person in my room will know they have a voice and their voice is valued!
