Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of exceptional learners who are always eager to learn. They learn best using a multi-sensory approach. Some of our lessons include building words with letter tiles, using sand to write letters, and creating crafts to support instruction. Math is one of their favorite subjects.

My Project

As an educator for scholars with special needs, these craft items will support in-school instruction by facilitating a multi-sensory approach to meet learning objectives. In addition, the Clorox wipes will ensure a clean, sanitized workspace.

Our scholars will have the opportunity to learn about famous African American inventors Garret Morgan and George Crum.

They will use these craft items to create replicas of the traffic light and the potato chip. Giving scholars the opportunity to learn in a clean, safe, nurturing workspace will inspire and ignite future inventors and contributors of the world. More importantly, the joy of witnessing future leaders and innovators will be the most rewarding experience for scholars, their families, and the classroom staff.
