My Project

Help me provide my students with literature and resources to celebrate influential black heroes not just during Black History Month, but all year long.

I am looking to build my library to include non fiction texts and resources that teach my third graders about the amazing heroism and impact of black figures such as Katherine Johnson, Martin Luther King Jr., Sojourner Truth, George Washington Carver, Mae Jemison, and many more.

These books will help these people to become real to my students through daily read alouds and on level texts.
