My Project
One day I had a student who became so excited when they heard the story was about a little girl from a country her was from. He spent the rest of the class helping the class read some of his native language and taught us lessons about his culture. I want to do the same for other students of color.
We have a small amount of books and stories from black authors, and these books can provide my students with a little glace into the wide world of stories about them.
