This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will help my students learn about birthday experiences and practice what to do when it is their birthday and what is expected when it is a friend's birthday. They will learn what language is associated with birthdays. The realia of the cake will help make a connection between some of the language they are learning and the experience. Celebrating a birthday is part of our culture and by including these little ones, it will help include them in family celebrations and experiences. Help bring a family together through experiences.
