Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of the students with severe disabilities like the idea of planting vegetables, herbs and flowers but working on ground-level plots is often physically difficult for them.
By providing us with durable raised Birdie planters, you help us create planting stations that will be physically accessible to all students working in our school garden.
Every time, we purchase items that need assembly, students enjoy unpacking the items, reading the instructions and using tools to assemble the item. Once we decided where the new Birdie planters will be best placed, students will get to work to build them.
