My Students

I work in an urban school with minimal resources. It is a trauma-sensitive school in the heart of town. I would like my students to come to school and not worry about their health and safety due to Covid-19.

I have a multi-cultural mix of students from urban America, and South America.

Their reading levels range from kindergarten to 3rd grade. They can be very excited with reading texts that concretize their learning.

I'm looking forward to educating them to be successful adults in a lifelong adventure of learning!

My Project

The students in my class have a place to write, but they do not have enough storage in their desks to keep their notebooks, folders, and stationery. I am requesting bins to hold their belongings. It is still very important for students to have their own resources because of COVID concerns.

These colorful bins will help keep my students organized in the classroom and have all of their resources within reach.

These bins are large and durable enough to hold their folders, textbooks, notebooks, and a pencil case.

The folders are different colors and will be used for different subjects to maintain uniformity in the classroom with each student having the same color for math, reading, writing, etc.

The notebooks will be used for student writing and word work. It is important for students to practice the phonics skills being taught in class in reading and in their writing.

These supplies will help all the students learn to become organizers.
