My Project

My students are determined learners from diverse backgrounds. Many of their families face financial struggles; some live in shelters, and many are first-generation students. Despite these challenges, they show up eager to learn and work hard every day. Without textbooks, I create custom learning packets for each student, but keeping them organized is difficult.

I’m requesting binders to help my students manage their materials better, stay organized, and have all their resources in one place.

Binders will provide my students with a central space for their work, helping them organize notes, assignments, and worksheets. This will make it easier to review and study, support daily learning, and develop critical organizational skills. For students juggling many responsibilities at home, having organized materials at school gives them one less worry, fostering confidence and focus in the classroom. My goal is to help students stay organized and develop strong study habits. The binders will encourage responsibility and independence, skills that are especially valuable for first-generation students. By creating a supportive, structured learning environment, I hope to set them up for success in high school and beyond. My students’ resilience and determination make them special. Many face hardships at home, yet they come to school motivated to succeed. Their families want the best for them but may not have the resources to provide extra learning tools. By providing binders, I aim to support their educational journey and help them achieve their potential.
