Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach kindergarten. I have 24 students in my class this year. Our supplies are very limited at our school due to funding restrictions.

Our class is looking to have a binding machine so we can bind the books our class makes. We have been using staples to hold the books we make, but they often come apart.

In kindergarten, we make a lot of books to provide enrichment to students' learning. We make books using words of the week, create our own versions of stories, and at the end of the year, we make a class yearbook of kindergarten memories.

We hope to receive a binding machine so we can create and keep our class books together! The books we make will help us become better readers!! Thank you for your support!!
