My Project

My students are young but so eager to learn! Learning a second language is not easy, but they call themselves bilingual superheroes, and they show me every day that they don’t fear challenges. They struggle sometimes, but they don’t give up.

As the new curriculum Next Generation acknowledged the need of play and learning centers in kindergarten, we need materials such as Magna-Tiles to build our block center and tape for creative project in our art center.

The materials will empower my students by providing the basic materials they need to succeed in kindergarten. They will learn through play and through art projects.

The classroom lessons in my classroom are in English as well as in French. The use of visual clues and hands-on materials such as a magnetic whiteboard easel to build words in both languages using magnetic letters are essential to make learning more engaging, enjoyable, but leads also to increased retention.
