This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love my 2nd and 3rd grade bilingual students because they are incredibly bright and eager to learn. Despite the challenges they face with limited resources at home, they continue to show remarkable dedication and resilience. Their ability to navigate between two languages is inspiring, and it's clear that they have so much potential. However, it’s also heart-wrenching to know that they don’t always have the materials or support they need to practice reading in both languages outside of school. Their passion and determination to succeed motivate me every day to find creative ways to support them and ensure they have the opportunities they deserve to thrive. I feel so fortunate to be part of their educational journey.
