My Project
Please help me provide my students with the start to a great school year. I am a new pre-kindergarten teacher in a Title I school, and I am trying to ensure that my students start their educational journey on the right foot.
As a bilingual teacher for the past five years, I have noted that Spanish resources are harder to come by.
Now that I am in Pre-K I have noticed that simple things, such as alphabets or colors or even numbers, are not as easily accessible and need to be created by hand.
With triangular crayons students are able to not only color but also getting some fine motor skills, laminating sheets help to protect and give a longer life to student centers and handmade classroom decoratios. Laminating alphabet cards or playdoh letters, etc, ensures that students are able to reuse and enjoy centers for a longer period. The dry erase sheet protectors make it easier to personalize students writing task, whether it be name writing or letter practice, having such a resource allows students to pratice their prewriting skills in a non wasteful manner. With the binding machine, students will be able to get customized workbooks in Spanish, which will provide them with practice at school and also at home, helping to bridge any gaps that might occur.
Please help me in providing language appropriate centers, classroom decorations and workbooks, so that my scholars start off their educational journey on the right foot.
