Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to obtain a carpet where children could sit comfortably during our morning meetings. Also I would like to get the bilingual books because those books will help my students to learn how to read and both languages.

My kindergarten class is a special dual language class where children learn both English and Spanish at the same time.

During the morning we learn in English and in the afternoon we switch to spanish. My class loves to listen to stories but sometimes it makes it hard to be sitting on the floor. We would really love to have a carpet where we could listen to our favorite read aloud and be comfortable, especially a bilingual carpet because we are all bilingual. We will also improve our reading skill by rearing our bilingual books. Sometimes they are hard to find and they are also expensive for us to buy.

We would really appreciate any donation.
