Big Stretchers! Big Paintings! BIG Creativity!

Help me give my students large stretcher bars to make big paintings. We are so lucky to have canvas to paint on, but my students are itching to go larger and these stretchers will help us.

My Project

I’m very fortunate to work with an exceptionally talented, motivated group of Visual Arts students. My students have chosen to pursue their artistic dreams through studying at a prestigious public Arts high school in Manhattan. To gain a seat in the school these students auditioned by submitting a portfolio (when they were 12 or 13 years old), and a rigorous drawing exam.

My Advanced Painting juniors and seniors are itching to paint on larger canvas.

These large stretcher bars would give students the opportunity to practice stretching a canvas AND make a big painting.
