My Students

I will be teaching a diverse group of sweet second graders this school year. I am excited that we will be learning in school full-time. My new students have learned so much about using technology for learning and I want to make sure the activities and opportunities I provide them with will continue to strengthen their technology skills and keep them engaged and interested in learning.

My Project

We are happy to be back in person. However, we still need to socially distance and minimize group learning. My students need some new creative ways to stay engaged and learn because using only a lecture method to teach will cause my students to quickly lose interest. A large flat screen tv is a great way to project demonstrations, PowerPoint presentations, videos and even read books together. A laptop screen is too small for the class to view while socially distancing. A flat-screen tv is just what my students need to experience differentiated whole class activities and stay engaged.
