Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am lucky enough to teach an awesome group of middle school students who are creative, eager, and enthusiastic. They are always interested in learning more about a topic and constantly challenge me to be on my toes. I want to teach my kids the required subject matter, but I also want to teach them to be themselves, and have fun learning! Thank you for joining us on our journey.

I have students who are new to our country and don't speak English well yet, I have students who are diverse learners, and many who are working well above grade level.

I want to be able to meet all of my students where they are as well as push them to achieve more. I know I will need more materials than my new history curriculum provides, that's why I would love Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards. With these cards, I can purchase materials specifically geared toward my students and their needs. Having the ability to get the materials my students need will ensure they will be successful.
