My Project

Help me gift my students books, and activities to not only identify their feelings, but also give them tools on how to manage them.

Now more than ever children are navigating their big emotions alone.

Often times this means that they don't really know how to articulate how they are feeling, much less what to do with these feelings.

With the magna tiles students will be able to use their engineering skills to construct various feeling prototypes.

With the chosen books I would like to help them learn how to identify these feelings. We will practice identifying them by modeling on our potato heads. The calming activities and building materials will provide them with a positive outlet to manage these big emotions.
