My Project

Emotions are extremely hard for most of us but especially hard for our Title I students. Typically the students I work with are lacking different skills! Having manipulatives available for them to choose from is extremely helpful because many have no idea how to put words to what they are feeling! With the EMOTIONS COIN DROP students are able to look at array of different feelings and see expressions on the coins and pick that coin up to describe how they are feeling without having to put words to them!

Feelings are typically difficult to talk about, especially when parents or guardians do not encourage it at home!

Our students are often the ones with very little life skills and training from home! Some of the student’s parents are incarcerated and have other family members raising them. Many are just surviving! Thank you for considering helping our Title I students with their social and emotional needs!
