My Project

My kindergarten class is a vibrant community of young learners who have developed a deep love for reading. They eagerly engage in partner reading, cherishing the opportunity to share stories and explore new worlds together. Whether nestled in reading chairs or gathered on cozy reading rugs around the room, they eagerly dive into books, immersing themselves in the magic of storytelling.

Young children are naturally drawn to big, colorful books with larger-than-life characters and illustrations.

These books capture their attention and foster a love for reading. When kindergarteners encounter familiar stories in big books, they feel a sense of comfort and excitement, eagerly anticipating each page turn.

Big books serve as valuable tools for introducing new concepts, vocabulary, and information to young learners. Through shared reading experiences, kindergarteners not only encounter new words and ideas but also integrate this knowledge into their existing understanding of the world. Teachers can facilitate discussions, ask guiding questions, and provide explanations to ensure that children grasp and internalize the new information presented in the text.
