This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The resources I'm requesting—a diverse selection of Spanish books—will make a significant difference in their learning by providing them with opportunities to engage with the language in a variety of contexts. These books will cater to different interests and reading levels, ensuring that every student can find something that captivates their imagination. This tailored approach not only improves language skills but also fosters a lifelong love for reading.

My main goal for this project is to build a vibrant library that serves as a cornerstone for language acquisition and cultural understanding.

By giving students access to authentic Spanish literature, I aim to enhance their reading comprehension, vocabulary, and overall confidence in using the language.

Ultimately, this project is about empowering my students to become more fluent communicators and empathetic global citizens. With these resources, I hope to inspire them to explore the world beyond their immediate surroundings and develop a deeper appreciation for the beauty and diversity of the Spanish-speaking world.
