Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students in this 12th-grade Autistic Support classroom are incredibly unique and inspiring. They are bright, creative individuals with diverse interests and learning styles. They possess a unique perspective on the world and possess remarkable strengths in areas such as art, music, and technology.

My goal for this project is to create a more engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters their independence and prepares them for success after high school.

Organizer Carts & Shelving: These will help students develop organizational skills, a crucial life skill. They will be able to independently access and store their materials, reducing frustration and promoting self-reliance.

Pencils, Markers, Plastic Bins & Folders: These essential supplies will allow students to express themselves creatively through art projects, writing activities, and independent work.

Board Games: Engaging board games will provide opportunities for social interaction, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and foster teamwork and collaboration.

I believe that by providing these resources, I can create a more stimulating and supportive learning environment where my students can thrive. They deserve access to the tools and materials they need to reach their full potential.

I am passionate about helping my students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in all aspects of their lives. I believe in their abilities and am committed to providing them with the support and resources they deserve.
