My Project

My students are dedicated, curious, and always eager to try something new. They come to our after-school program looking for engaging activities that challenge them both mentally and physically. Many of them have never had the opportunity to play golf, but this project will change that! By teaching our students to golf, I hope to teach them patience, focus, and perseverance—skills that extend far beyond the sport itself.

The materials I’m requesting will provide my students with a complete golf training experience.

Practice golf balls, chipping nets, and hitting nets will allow them to work on their swing mechanics and accuracy in a safe, controlled environment. Callaway Alignment Stix will help them refine their stance and posture, essential components of a consistent golf swing. Golf push carts will allow them to transport equipment with ease, giving them the full experience of managing their own game. Finally, the laser rangefinder will introduce them to the mathematical and strategic side of golf, helping them understand distances and develop better decision-making skills.

Through this project, my goal is to introduce students to a sport that promotes discipline, patience, and resilience. Golf is unique in that it requires both physical skill and strategic thinking—an incredible way to engage students who may not connect with traditional sports. I want to give them an opportunity to experience something new, build confidence, and develop skills that will serve them for a lifetime.

What makes my students special is their eagerness to grow. They embrace challenges and love discovering new ways to learn. With your support, we can bring golf into their lives and open doors to new opportunities they never imagined possible. Thank you for believing in their potential!
