My Students

Our school serves students in grades ETK-6. We are a Title I public school from the inner-city. More than 95% of our students are on the federal free meal plan. Most of our students get dropped off and arrive at school at 7:30 AM and continue to stay at school until 6:00 PM. In other words, our school is their home away from home.

I work with energetic and motivated second graders who are eager to learn.

I would love to have the opportunity to create an environment that empowers my students to reach their full potential as scholars and citizens of the 21st century.

My Project

I am currently conducting online distance learning via Zoom on a tiny 11-inch laptop screen, so I am unable to see the formatting of my content as well as my 26 students at the same time! The lack of monitor space handicaps my ability to smoothly deliver my lessons.

A second screen enable me to present material in a more engaging way.

With a larger, second screen, I will also have the option of multitasking and working on content off of one screen while simultaneously being able to see all 24 of my students on another screen, thus allowing me to work more efficiently.

I am looking forward to the opportunity to get connected to all my students while presenting my daily lessons. Better technology equals Better Learning!
