My Students

This year is challenging for my remote students and in-person students, but despite having to wear masks all day or sit in front of a computer screen for hours, they've been super strong all-stars! I couldn't ask for a better class to get through such a difficult school year!

Even though it's incredibly hard to engage with lessons on a computer for six hours, or stay in seats without recess or being able to meet with friends, my students have shown patience and diligence beyond my expectations of any first grade class.

My Project

My first graders who are learning remotely need to hear both my in-person students and I during lessons so they can clearly listen to letter sounds and other forms of diction to learn how to read. It's very difficult for both groups to hear me simultaneously with the current technology we have available.

Learning through high sound quality is especially important for remote students to feel engaged with the classroom and their in-person peers.

With a wireless headset, I'll be able to hear them just as clearly and miscommunication will be at a minimum.
