My Project

As a Beta Club co-sponsor, I have the privilege of working with an amazing group of students at my high school beyond the classroom. The club members represent a cross section of the student population in grades 10-12 who strive to lead by example. They consistently demonstrate a commitment to academic achievement and service to the community.

During the 2023-24 school year, Beta Club plans to conduct quarterly community clean-ups on the elementary, middle, and high school campuses in our Woodland cluster.

Students will meet on designated Saturday mornings to pick up trash and debris around each campus. The plastic gloves, grabbers, and hand sanitizer will keep students safe while they canvas the school grounds and parking lots. Additionally, snacks will be provided during a mid-morning break to refuel the students.

The quarterly community clean-ups will provide an ongoing, school-based project for Beta Club members that enhances our entire Woodland Cluster. Beta Club members will also expand their collaboration skills as teams canvas each campus. Can you help make this service project a success?
