Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items are needed to help my students have the best testing environment. We are a Dual Language school and my students get tested frequently in English and Spanish. These materials will help my scholars focus by creating their own personal learning space (privacy boards), ignore nearby distractions (noise cancelling headphones) and provide them with clear listening abilities (headphones) when listening to online instructions.

The goals for this project are to help students in my class have resources when they feel anxiety when they have to take a test.

Some students benefit from noise cancelling headphones while others require personal uninterrupted space. We have traditionally received earbuds to support learning online learning in the classroom. However, these cheap earbuds usually break and lose the ability to listen from one side of the earbuds. The new headsets will help students feel comfortable and ready to tackle the test.

This group of students work really hard and try their best everyday. Lets help them by providing the best testing environment possible.
