Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My students are special because they come to school with a positive attitude and are ready to learn. They have difficult lives, but they have the opportunity with highly-qualified teachers and instruction to have the same learning opportunities as students who are not from low-income schools.
My students need updated technology to be able to learn in the classroom during the pandemic.
They deserve the basic necessities to be able to thrive. They enjoy coming to school where they feel safe and know they have a teacher who will do whatever it takes for them to succeed.
My Project
Students in my classroom are in desperate need of technology that is updated, functional, and will help them thrive with their learning goals. All too often students are given outdated technology or technology that is not replaced often. I want to have this MacBook computer so we can rotate usage for virtual learning, online learning programs, and something that will last us years to come as more students enter my classroom. I am willing to do everything I can to help my students become the best despite the area they live in or the school they go to.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
