My Project

Many of my students come from low-income families and require additional support to succeed academically. They demonstrate intelligence, enthusiasm for learning, and a strong commitment to achieving their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. Our students spend long hours at school from early morning until afternoon, and often skip meals, which undermines their motivation and engagement due to hunger and dehydration. With the warm weather on the horizon, they are running one or several miles during daily Physical Education classes.

It's evident that, on days with intense physical activity, we must implement specific strategies to enhance their motivation and productivity.

Providing cool and refreshing drinks that are kept in a refrigerator, for instance, is essential for rehydrating and energizing them for the classes after P.E. I believe that it is crucial for school teachers and staff to provide comprehensive support to students in multiple dimensions: academically, mentally, and physically.

This holistic approach is essential for fostering student success. Academic achievement is deeply intertwined with physical well-being; when students feel strong and healthy, they are more likely to engage fully in their studies and excel. Creating an environment where students are nurtured in all these areas not only enhances their knowledge and skills but also promotes their overall growth and resilience.
