Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will be a part of a national book study program that uses interactive lessons and book discussions to teach leadership and confidence to students. The book is described as "an exuberant collection of profound wisdom that turns White’s hard-earned lessons into a roadmap for your own personal success." We have been chosen as one of the pilot schools in the state to go through the education program that associates with the book, giving our students a chance to be a part of a national program. As they enter key stages in their life, this will be a great part of the SEL component of our AVID class.
