This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students want to Recycle. Currently, recyclable beverage bottles are discarded in trash cans. Let's Recycle recyclable beverage bottles at school. The recycle bin in this project is blue and has the recycle logo in white paint. The lid for this recycle bin has a hole at the center. The hole on the lid will is a visual for students to recognize that this is recycle container is to recyclable plastic beverage bottles.

Recycling is important.

There an are recyclable plastic beverage bottles in trash cans and around campus. My students want the recyclable plastic beverage containers to be recycled. Having a grabber tool to collect these discarded recyclable plastic bottles is a safe way to collect the recyclable beverage bottles. The gloves in this project will also be used to collect recyclable beverage bottles safely.

Sometimes the recyclable beverage bottles are sticky and dirty. The recycling bin and lid will get dirty with use. We will also use spray bottles and the Clorox cleaning wipes to keep the recycle bin and lid clean. My students and I are proud to recycle and we want to keep our Recycling Container and Lid clean all the time.

We are excited about recycling at school. My students will use the markers in this project to make posters with construction paper we already have in class. My students will make posters to encourage and remind students about the importance of recycling and taking care of our planet. We can't wait to put up the posters.

Thank you for supporting our initiative to recycle at school. We can't wait to have the recycling bin, lid with a hole, gloves, grabbers, Clorox wipes, spray bottles, and markers so that we have the materials we need to Recycle at school.
