Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a 2nd grade dual language teacher in Corona, Queens. My classroom is filled with learners from different backgrounds. I love to learn about their backgrounds and what makes them unique.

My students are eager to learn and I know that they would enjoy choosing books that interest them in their native language.

It is imperative to provide this for my students to foster a love for reading.

Through reading I can build the confidence that my students need to succeed. My students deserve the very best because they are the best!
