Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These beginning reader books help students to start reading sight words and sounding out beginner words. These stories are made for students to start with stories and characters they are familiar with at a reading level that they can build confidence in. When students have confidence in their reading they are encouraged to continue on their reading journey.

With our goal to have all students reading by grade 3, it is important to instill a love of reading and give them stories that spark curiosity.

Allowing students to check out beginner book sets takes the financial burden off of our families.
