Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hello! It is the beginning of a new school year and I have an awesome group of students. My students live in an urban area and all qualify for free lunch. Even though it is the beginning of the school year, we tend to run out of basic supplies before the end of the first semester. Many students come to school with brand new supplies while others are unable to purchase items due to difficult financial situations. Being provided with the necessities allows students to be motivated to try their best and makes them more eager to learn.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting for my class will be used on the daily basis. The pencils, electric pencil sharpener, electric stapler, highlighters, and copy paper will be used during our daily reading and writing lessons. The crayons will be used when they need to color code their work in their academic activity notebooks. The expo markers will be used with our mini white boards when we review before a test or assessment. With Fall and Winter soon approaching, Kleenex boxes and Lysol wipes are a necessity to reduce the number of germs being spread.

By donating to this project students will be able to have access to supplies needed on a daily basis.
