Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a low economic school that is 73% Hispanic. Our students are eager to learn new things.

Many of our students will not go to college.

We want them to learn other trades for their future and become lifelong learners.

My Project

Our STEAM room is up and running for our students. We have BeeBot robots, but need the supplies that go with them. BeeBot mats allow for students to program a robot and use the mat to learn shapes, direction, math as well as many other things.

We want our students to have the opportunity to learn and explore.

Through STEAM activities, they are able to use knowledge and skills that they have learned in the classroom and put these skills to use. STEAM activities excite students to learn and explore.
