My Project

I currently work with students who have hearing impairments. Because of their hearing impairments, many of my students have limited language. Activities like coding allow my students to improve their language skills, both receptively and expressively by improving their spatial concepts, improving their utterances, and improving their ability to follow multi-step directions. Using hands-on activities like the Bee-Bots will keep my students engaged and learning while having fun!!

My goals for this project are for students to improve their language while demonstrating their ability to code independently.

A lot of times, my students are told what they can't do. Using the Bee Bots will allow my students to demonstrate what they know and can do independently.

We can do various activities monthly throughout the school year that will allow the students to grow as coders and improve their language. The Bee-Bots will help keep the students engaged in learning while enhancing their academic skills.
