Bee Bots Needed!

Help me give my students an introduction to computer science in my 5th grade math classroom. I had a PD on integrating computer science and math and have tons of resources and ideas to support this.

My Project

There has been an emphasis on creating STEAM or STEM projects within all grade level and subject classrooms. I was introduced to coding in a PD and I feel like my students can benefit from these bee bots!

Coding is the reason why everything we use in our everyday life works.

There will be a huge need for computer science and coding in the future. Students need to be introduced to this early on and throughout their schooling. The start to coding in the math classroom is with bee bots. They allow students to code while integrating math standards and practice.

Bee bots are the first step for my elementary students to start coding and introduce them to a career pathway that will be needed in the future.
