My Project

Having a rich vocabulary is key to engaging with increasingly complex texts as students move up through the high school. Sadly, as students' interests shifts from the printed word to the more visual world, they don't read as much; consequently, vocabulary tends to be limited.

The Wordly Wise program introduces students to high-tiered vocabulary and allows more opportunities for its use so students incorporate them into their personal word banks.

With richer vocabulary, students can tackle more complex books with greater ease as opposed to when they have a limited one.
