This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning about community helpers is part of our curriculum, Tools of the Mind, and it is also an essential theme to learn in preschool. However, my class needs books and some materials to be able to understand each community helper's role and how he or she contributes to our community.

The books about community helpers will help my students to recognize their roles and how they contribute to our community.

Moreover, my students will also be able to use the whiteboards by drawing and writing what they want to become when they grow up.

Learning about community helpers is an essential theme to learn during the preschool year; with your donation my students will be able to learn about them.
