Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title 1 school with diverse students. My students come from low income families. They love to read and write. A lot of them also struggle with the English language. They are a very sweet and respectful bunch!

My Project

We are a Title 1 school. My students come from low income families that are motivated to learn! If these books get funded the books will be placed in our classroom library. Students will be given the option to take the books home and read. They will switch out the books every week so this way they are able to explore all the different books in our library. The books will help improve their reading and writing! It will boost their confidence and will help them learn to fall in love with reading!
