Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom consists of 22 young minds who are eager and anxious to learn. The majority of these students are low income and ELL students. Some have never attended school and have little to no home experience with literacy. Recently we started Writer's Workshop. Each day a new "subject of the day" is chosen. The children write and illustrate and create the most wonderful work!

These are amazing children, and I would love to provide them with materials that foster this love of learning and writing!

By funding this project, you will be providing our classroom with a Spiral Coil Binding Machine. This machine will allow us to take our amazing writing and illustrating and create our own books right here in the classroom!
