Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love my kiddos! Each of them holds a very special place in my heart and it hurts me not to physically see them in person every week! However, we are flexible and transitioned into distance learning to keep the connections and learning going! I have been meeting with them weekly online, as well as collaborating with parents and sending home worksheets and ideas to work on speech and language skills at home.

My Project

I will use many of these activities to upload and screen share to kiddos during this time of distance learning as well as in person therapy. These items will help meet their goals in speech and language. I also have items I am planning on gifting directly to kiddos who need it.

Kids are having an extremely hard time academically, as well as socially with this pandemic going on.

Placing them in small groups and being able to interact with their peers means so much to them. These activities will help bridge that gap! Thank you
