My Project

I am a staff member at a Title 1 K-5 elementary school in Richmond, Virginia. One of my goals for this school year is to create after school enrichment opportunities that are free of charge.

Our students work so hard daily on mastering the standards of learning in the core subjects of math, language arts, science and social studies and deserve to have the opportunity to explore other interests outside of the regular school day.

Our after school clubs aim to promote social and emotional learning, physical activity, and mental well-being by providing a fun and safe space for students to learn, explore, and create.

This spring we plan to offer a cooking club, tennis, gardening club, book club, Lego robotics, knitting club, and an outdoor art education program, but we need your help to make this possible! We are requesting materials to do this. Please consider donating to provide our awesome kids the opportunity to participate in after school activities!
