My Project

Many of our autistic students require visuals, PEC cards, Schedules and printed routines On a daily basis. Although these items can be printed in black and white, they are more effective when they are in color. Having colorful resources allows the students to want to access the materials and use them appropriately. Multiple times throughout the day we need to make copies or something that requires color to display around the classroom or for the students to carry their classes each day.

Having two colored printers will allow the special education team to print copies when they are necessary.

We have asked the school district multiple times to purchase these items for us and we have been denied. There was a glimmer of hope this year that they were going to purchase five of these printers for our special education team to support our students. We purchased on our own to lessen the cost to the district only to be told they were not going to purchase any printers. We now have no printers and a box full of ink.
