Please help me give my students engaging picture books about caring for our Earth. Reading, discussing, and doing projects with these books will help them understand the impact they can have on protecting our Earth. Books about trees, oceans, animals, and recycling should have a big impact on my students who are invested in keeping our planet clean and safe.
These books will inspire students to be proactive when it comes to our Earth.
They will see the difference just one person can make and be encouraged to be one of those people. We will use these books to springboard activities involved in seed dispersal, recycling, and keeping our ocean clean. Living and learning in Hawaii makes it easy to focus on place-based learning and the books will show them how starting with our own environment can reach others far away.
