My Students

The fifth grade scholars in my classroom are enthusiastic, diverse, and curious learners. They love morning meetings and are motivated by love and kindness. 97% of the scholars at our school in Minnesota receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My Project

Picture books are a great way to share beautiful messages and lessons with all scholars. In our class family, 100% of scholars are students of color, and having diverse books for all learners is of utmost importance!

Help my beautifully diverse class family have a myriad of texts that they see themselves represented in.

These books are all different and special in their own way, vary in text complexity, and will allow for our class family reflect on our everyday choices to prepare the future for a better tomorrow.
